About Me

I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in central Connecticut.  My interest in photography began as a childhood hobby photographing the landscape around our home in Vermont, and evolved into a labor of love when I started my own photography studio in 2006.  After running my own business for three years, I am now an Associate Photographer for Carla Ten Eyck and book weddings exclusively through Carla's studio.  I continue to photograph portraits independently.

I belong to WPPI and a talented group of local photographers who partner with Pictage, and I continually challenge myself by attending the latest workshops and seminars.  I freelance for sports photography agency Capstone Photo, and I have placed twice in the international WedComp competition.

When I'm not taking photos you'll find me spending time with my beautiful wife and daughter, or moonlighting at my other job as a firefighter.  I enjoy campfires, a good cup of coffee, Spicy Tuna Rolls, an occassional cigar, my wife's perfume and my daughter's smile in the morning.

Style

My photography is both creative and documentary.  Far from traditional, I strive for unique perspectives, dramatic light, extreme compositions and raw emotion.   I am inspired by the world around me, and my goal is to take compelling images that will tell your story and reflect your personality.
