After an absence as long as this one (last blog post: FEBRUARY), I considered that maybe it’s time to pull the plug on this thing. After all, my weddings post to Carla’s site and portraits have taken a back seat to other things in life. But since Caroline had, oh, a half dozen blog posts by the time she was Patrick’s age, it would be bordering on neglect and surely look like favoritism if I didn’t give Patrick his due on the world wide web. So, without making any excuses, and to prove that I have in fact been taking his photographs, here is Patrick himself. Just a little sample of his birth, his first time meeting his big sister and his first few days at home. Love this little guy more than I could put into words.
The photos of me and Jen holding Patrick in the O.R. were taken by Jen’s photographically inclined and extremely generous nurse anesthetist. They are priceless photos that we already cherish, and we owe her so much.
